When do Third Culture Kids stop being Third Culture Kids?

They don’t. Once a third culture kid always a third culture kid. Once TCKs reach age 18, they don’t stop being a third culture kid but become adult third culture kids (ATCKs). While many adults (those over age 18) move overseas and experience the mobility and transcultural world that TCKs do, the impact isn’t the same because they are experiencing it as an adult.
